In most areas, patios don't require a permit unless they're attached to the house or exceed certain size thresholds. We'll advise you based on your local requirements.
In some cases, yes — with a bonding overlay. However, for best results and longevity, we typically recommend removing old concrete and starting fresh.
We pour patios at 4 inches minimum over compacted gravel. For hot tub pads or areas with heavy furniture, we go to 5-6 inches with additional reinforcement.
Light foot traffic after 24-48 hours. Furniture placement after 7 days. Full cure at 28 days, but you can enjoy your patio well before then.
Absolutely. Proper drainage is critical. We grade the sub-base and slope the patio away from your home to prevent water pooling and foundation issues.
